Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey for Not Especially Special. (This is Kickstarter-speak for the information-collecting that we need to do in order to get you your books and other rewards.) It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://not-especially-special.backerkit.com.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://not-especially-special.backerkit.com/faq.

Check out the video to get an exclusive look at what your personal mention could look like! You can choose from a list of featured animals to be named after your child. We’ll have peacocks, tigers, rhinos, kangaroos, water buffalo, ostriches, rabbits & flamingos to choose from.
Now, if you’ve already pledged at another level & you are interested in upgrading, it’s very easy to do.
Once you’ve logged in to Kickstarter, go to our Kickstarter page.
You’ll see the “Manage My Pledge” button at the top. This is where you can easily alter your pledge to reflect what you want to receive.
If you've already pledged at this level, you don't have to worry about changing anything. The upgrade already applies to you! Thank you!

One more thing! If you know of a ministry/program/non-profit that would benefit from some free copies of Not Especially Special, would you please let us know about them in the comments below? We'd love to get even more free books out if we meet our stretch goal!

For those of you who didn't click on the video, here's the low-down:
If we can raise $18,000 before the end of this Kickstarter campaign, two wonderful things will happen:
1. We will be able to donate 100 copies of Not Especially Special to the STARS (Students and Tutors Achieving Real Success) After School program. This ministry, sponsored jointly by the Lake Avenue Community Foundation and Because You Matter, Inc, offers tutoring, academic support, and coaching to low-income students in the public school system.

2. Every copy of the book will come with a custom dust jacket!
